‘Caught on Camera’: Chacko Lands in Fresh Trouble

Already embroiled in controversy, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko is once again at the center of a storm. Known for playing supporting roles in Telugu and Tamil films, the actor is facing serious allegations from actress Vinusha Aloysius.

Before the heat from that controversy could settle, Shine Tom Chacko has landed in yet another incident. Late last night, the Anti-Drugs Squad raided a hotel in Ernakulam. Moments before the raid, Shine fled the premises. He reportedly jumped from the third floor to the second, then used the staircase and fled through the swimming pool area—an escape that was captured on video.

Sources claim Shine had advance information about the raid, raising suspicions and prompting political backlash.

This isn’t the first time the actor has been linked to drug-related controversies. In 2015, he was arrested on similar charges but was recently acquitted. However, his sudden escape from the hotel and the viral video have reignited debate and concern.

Meanwhile, actress Vinusha Aloysius, who had indirectly hinted at misconduct earlier, has now formally lodged a complaint with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). She alleges that during the shoot of the film Suthravaakyam, Shine consumed drugs and behaved inappropriately with her.

These accusations come shortly after the Hema Committee also spotlighted drug use on film sets in the Malayalam industry.

In response, AMMA has launched a full-scale investigation into the matter. If the allegations are proven, Shine Tom Chacko could face a lifetime ban from the Malayalam film industry.

With both drug accusations and misconduct complaints piling up, Shine finds himself in deep trouble, with his career hanging in the balance.
