Popular Bollywood actor Makarand Deshpande revealed that his scenes in the movie RRR were trimmed due to scheduling conflicts caused by delays in filming.
Makrand, featured briefly in the Ram Charan-Jr NTR starrer couldn't commit to the fluctuating shooting schedule resulting in his scenes being shortened.
During an interview, Deshpande explained that the film's production faced setbacks due to factors like COVID, which affected his availability.
Initially enjoying filming he eventually found it challenging due to the prolonged schedule.
Deshpande recalled that he surprised the team by arriving on set without his trademark long hair and mustache, leading to a surprising reaction from the crew, including Ram Charan.
Makrand said that despite his altered appearance, director SS Rajamouli assured Deshpande that his acting skills mattered more than his looks.
Of course, if Rajamouli needs a particular look, he is known for getting it done.
On the work front, Deshpande is part of Dev Patel's 'Monkey Man', awaiting release clearance from the CBFC after delays in its scheduled release date.
