Bobby Deol became emotional after winning the Best Villain Award at IIFA 2024 for his performance in Animal. In a video from the event Bobby was seen tearing up when his name was announced.
Seated beside his wife Tanya he hugged and kissed her before heading to the stage to accept the award. As fans cheered and chanted his name Bobby fought back tears and expressed gratitude saying how much the audience’s support meant to him.
Although not comfortable with public speaking Bobby recreated his famous "finger on the lip" pose from Animal delighting the crowd. He was later asked to dance to "Jamal Kudu" and brought director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on stage to join him. Animal was a special film for Bobby marking his impactful comeback despite his limited role. The film also won three other awards: Best Film, Best Supporting Actor for Anil Kapoor and Best Playback Singer for Bhupendra Babban.
