Bobby Confesses About His Alcoholism

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol known for his role in the film Animal recently reflected on a challenging period in his life during an interview with Humans of Bombay. He shared his struggle with alcohol addiction describing it as the weakest phase of his life. 

Deol emphasized that while it's important to acknowledge past mistakes one must also learn and move forward without dwelling on regrets.

He expressed that overcoming addiction is a personal journey where self-belief plays a crucial role. Deol compared his experience to drowning noting that while he felt overwhelmed he believed everyone has the ability to overcome their struggles.

The turning point for him came when he saw the distress of his family and realized his role as a father, motivating him to improve. He recalled that his comeback began with the film Poster Boys, which, despite its failure, marked the start of his effort to reinvent himself.
