The 2024 MHADA lottery has allocated 2,030 houses in Mumbai with winners including several Marathi celebrities. Bigg Boss 16 finalist and Marathi Bigg Boss winner Shiv Thakare secured a home in Powai under the High-Income Group (HIG) category valued at Rs 1.78 crore.
Other winners include actress Gautami Deshpande, who got a home in Goregaon, and actors Nikhil Bane and Gaurav More. Nikhil won a house in Vikhroli’s Kannamwar Nagar. Reports say that 27 artists applied for two homes in Goregaon. The results were announced on October 8.
Shiv, who once delivered newspapers and milk in his hometown Amravati shared that buying a home has been a long journey. In January 2024, he revealed on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 that he had recently purchased a house. Shiv is also rumored to be dating Bollywood actress Daisy Shah.
