Donald Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States today. As per Indian Standard Time, the ceremony will take place at 10:30 PM. Due to weather conditions, the inauguration will be held indoors at the Rotunda of the Washington Capitol Hall.

Preparations for the event have been completed, and India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, will attend the ceremony representing the Indian government.

Despite the title of "Big Brother," the salary of the U.S. President is relatively modest compared to leaders of other countries. The annual honorarium of the U.S. President is $400,000, which translates to approximately Rs 3.46 crore in Indian currency.

In contrast, the Singapore Prime Minister earns around Rs 13.85 crore per year, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong earns Rs 6 crore, and the Swiss President receives Rs 4.9 crore annually. Additionally, these leaders are entitled to various other benefits and allowances.
