Actress Ayesha Takia’s husband, Farhan Azmi, was booked in Goa after allegedly brandishing a gun during a street brawl. Ayesha claimed that her husband and their 11-year-old son were harassed and threatened by local "Goan goons" for being from Maharashtra. She described the incident as a "night of horror" and stated that Farhan only acted in self-defense.
She further alleged that Farhan was unfairly targeted and that the police, instead of protecting him, filed a complaint against him despite him calling for help. Ayesha mentioned having video evidence, including CCTV footage, which she intends to share with authorities.
Goa Police confirmed receiving a call about a fight near Candolim Beach and found Farhan with a licensed gun. Both parties refused to file complaints or undergo medical tests. Farhan has not yet made an official statement regarding the incident.
