A month ago, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi made controversial remarks about Prabhas, sparking widespread outrage. His comments, referring to Prabhas’ appearance in a film, ignited a significant backlash, with fans and celebrities like Nani coming to Prabhas' defense.
Warsi had initially said, *"I was disappointed. Why did he look like a joker in the movie? I wanted to see something like Mad Max, I envisioned someone like Mel Gibson. Why did they make him look like that? I didn't understand why they did that to him."*
However, Warsi has now clarified his statement, explaining that his comments were misunderstood. He emphasized that he did not body shame Prabhas, but was only criticizing the role he played in the movie.
*"Prabhas is an amazing actor. He continues to prove himself time and again. My previous remarks were directed at the character he portrayed, not at him personally,"* Warsi explained.
Prabhas' immense stature in Indian cinema is well-known, especially as a pan-India star, outshining many Bollywood actors. Although criticism is natural for a star of his caliber, Warsi’s comments generated notable tension, leading him to clarify his stance.
