For the second time this week, Bollywood star Salman Khan has received death threats. The attackers, who previously demanded Rs. 2 crores, have now increased their demand to Rs. 5 crores. Additionally, they provided an alternative option.
The threat message stated that Salman must either pay Rs. 5 crores to stay alive or visit a temple to ask for forgiveness. Just like last time, this threatening message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police control room via WhatsApp.
It is well-known that Salman faces a security threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Previously, gang members even fired shots outside his residence. While that case is ongoing, the gang recently killed Baba Siddiqui, alleging he was close to Salman.
Now, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued another warning to Salman. Currently, he is in Hyderabad, filming his new movie at Falaknuma Palace under heavy security.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been targeting Salman due to his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan during the shooting of the Bollywood film Hum Saath Saath Hain.
