Another Celebrity Tweet Against Air India

Actress Shefali Shah expressed her frustration on social media after Air India flight AI 866 was stuck on the runway for over two hours due to a technical glitch. She criticized the airline for not allowing passengers to deboard despite their repeated requests. 

Shah urged Air India to let passengers leave and continue with their day, highlighting the growing trend of celebrities using platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to address grievances with airlines.

Air India responded to her complaint acknowledging the delay and asking for patience. This incident follows actress Tillotama Shome's similar criticism of Air India for a nine-hour flight delay without proper communication or solutions. Both actresses called for accountability with Shome even tagging India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in her complaints. The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused in both cases.
