Amitabh's Grand Daughter Into IIM Without CAT Exam

Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan has enrolled in the Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad for the 2024-2026 session. After announcing her admission on social media some critics questioned the legitimacy of her course suggesting it wasn't a "real MBA" and speculating about a possible admission "quota."

Despite the criticism an IIM Ahmedabad professor Promila Agarwal praised Navya’s credentials emphasizing that a strong CV can sometimes replace the need for the CAT exam.

Navya, daughter of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda expressed her excitement about joining the program, calling it a "dream-come-true" on Instagram.

She shared photos of herself on campus celebrating her admission and credited a teacher named Prasad for helping her with the admission exams. Navya who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Technology and UX Design from Fordham University is also a social entrepreneur and involved in her family's business.
