Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has sold his luxurious duplex apartment in Oshiwara, Mumbai, for Rs83 crore, according to property registration documents. The apartment, located in The Atlantis project by Crystal Group, was purchased in April 2021 for Rs31 crore, showing a remarkable 168% increase in value.
Spanning 5,704 sqft, the premium duplex features a large terrace, six parking spaces, and a carpet area of 5,185.62 sqft. The transaction, registered in January 2025, involved a stamp duty of Rs 4.98 crore.
Previously, the apartment was rented out to actress Kriti Sanon in November 2021 for Rs 10 lakh per month. Oshiwara, a lively area in western Mumbai, offers a blend of convenience and modern living.
Amitabh Bachchan, known as the ‘Shahenshah of Bollywood’, is celebrated for his remarkable career and numerous accolades, including four National Film Awards and the Padma Vibhushan.
