Despite grand plans the college named 'Aishwarya Bachchan Kanya Mahavidyalay,' never materialized.
The project was handed over to the Nishtha Foundation led by Jaya Prada but the college remained a mere blueprint.
In 2018 villagers took matters into their own hands establishing Daulatpur Degree College on a nearby plot with donations from local teacher Satyawan Shukla and his family.
