Ambanis' Mass Wedding Event: To Avoid 'Nara Drishti'!

Business magnate Mukesh Ambani and his wife, philanthropist Nita Ambani, attended a mass wedding for underprivileged couples in Palghar District, Maharashtra as part of the pre wedding festivities for their son, Anant Ambani, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant. The event was held at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir.

The event has gone viral with various YouTube links covering it. Mukesh wore black pants and a white shirt, while Nita looked elegant in a red saree.

The Ambanis had invited guests to witness the mass wedding expressing their commitment to this noble cause. This event is part of the ongoing celebrations for Anant and Radhika which began in Jamnagar, Gujarat attended by dignitaries like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg and featured performances by artists like Rihanna.

Another celebration took place on a Mediterranean cruise with 1200 guests including employees of Reliance Industries and Encore Healthcare. Anant and Radhika are set to marry on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

While this mass wedding is seen as a great philanthropic activity activity by a set of people others are understanding it as an activity done to avoid "nara drishti" (evil eye or the eyes' of envious people).

The Ambanis are indeed celebrating the wedding event which may attract the envy of fellow billionaires but not the common men.
