After much anticipation, Allu Arjun has finally been released from jail. The actor, who was arrested yesterday afternoon, spent the night in custody despite being granted bail as the necessary documents failed to reach the Chanchalguda jail authorities on time. Today, he was released, much to the delight of his fans who had gathered in large numbers outside the jail to welcome him. Following his release, Allu Arjun left directly for his residence.
Despite bail being granted last night, procedural delays led to the actor being held overnight. Jail authorities had registered Allu Arjun as an under-trial prisoner with ID number 7697. Until 10 PM, he was held at the jail's reception area before being shifted to the Class-1 room in Manjeera Barrack, where he reportedly shared space with two other under-trial inmates.
The actor’s arrest was related to the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre, which resulted in the police listing 18 accused. Allu Arjun was named as A11 in the case, while the theatre owner was listed as A1, a co-partner Sandeep as A3, and the manager Nagaraju as A9. The investigation into the incident is still underway, but the actor’s release has brought immense joy to his fans, who are celebrating outside his residence.
