Body-shaming comments against actresses are not new, and recently, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has become the latest target. Earlier, actresses like Vaani Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor faced similar scrutiny, and now rumors are circulating on social media claiming that Alia's cosmetic surgery has allegedly failed. Some social media users have been sharing posts about her "uneven smile" and suggesting that her face appears altered when she speaks.

Alia Bhatt took to social media to respond to these trolls with a lengthy post, saying, "I never judge anyone who opts for cosmetic correction or surgery—your body, your choice. But the ongoing trolling is ridiculous! Videos claiming I’ve had a botox failure are circulating, saying I smile unevenly and look strange while talking. Some are even claiming my face is half-paralyzed with so-called scientific evidence. How can you make such videos without any factual basis? Do you have even a hint of information?"

Alia expressed disappointment, especially noting that some of the negative comments come from women.
