Recently, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt expressed her frustration over trolls on social media accusing her of undergoing plastic surgeries to enhance her looks and criticizing her smile. Some even spread false claims about her health, which Alia condemned as baseless. She warned those who spread such misinformation without evidence, noting that posting unsubstantiated claims is legally punishable.

Alia remarked, "Posting content without proof is a crime by law. Some are doing these cheap stunts just for views, and it’s shameful to see women among those making vile comments. Such behavior is dangerous in the long run. I am going to take this matter seriously from now on."

Alia recently appeared in the action-thriller film Jigra, which faced a disappointing box-office response. Amidst the film's performance, negative commentary around her personal and professional life on social media has intensified.
