Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 1 Cr For Ayodhya Monkeys

Actor Akshay Kumar, known for his philanthropy, recently donated Rs 1 crore to feed monkeys in Ayodhya, honoring Lord Hanuman’s legendary army. Months after his contribution of Rs 1.21 crore for the renovation of Mumbai’s Haji Ali Dargah, Akshay’s latest support is for a feeding initiative led by the Anjaneya Sewa Trust under Jagatguru Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj.

Responding generously to their appeal, Akshay dedicated this act of service to his parents and his father-in-law, Rajesh Khanna.

Priya Gupta, a trustee of the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, praised Akshay’s kindness, noting his respect for others and his commitment to social responsibility. Akshay has also ensured that the feeding program doesn’t inconvenience Ayodhya’s residents or cause littering.

Meanwhile the actor is set to return to the big screen with Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
