Akshay Injured During Housefull 5 Stunt

Akshay Kumar, while filming a stunt for Housefull 5 in Mumbai, suffered an eye injury when an object accidentally hit him. An ophthalmologist was promptly called to the set, who treated and bandaged his eye, advising rest. Despite the injury, Akshay remains committed to resuming the shoot soon, as the film is in its final stages and he wants to avoid delays.

Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including franchise regulars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, and Jacqueline Fernandez. New cast members include Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, and Sonam Bajwa.

The film began shooting earlier this year in Europe, with a notable 40-day schedule aboard a cruise ship, traveling from Newcastle to Spain and other scenic locations. Housefull 5 is slated for release on June 6, 2025.
