Actress Angry With Body Shaming

Marathi Actress Amruta Khanvilkar posted a strong message on Facebook regarding the online trolls on women and hurtful comments. 

She expressed her disappointment at the lack of boundaries in trolling especially when it turns into body shaming.

In her post she emphasized that she's not just an actress but also someone's daughter, sister, and more. 

She was particularly upset by comments from Marathi women criticizing their use of abusive language. 

Amruta clarified that while she is open to constructive criticism, she won't tolerate hateful remarks.

She highlighted the issue of channels not disabling comments on such content for views. 

Amruta stressed the need to address body shaming especially when it comes from women by questioning the contradiction between criticizing her wardrobe choices and using abusive language.

On the work front Amruta is seen in Disney+ Hotstar's series 'Lootere' directed by Jai Mehta.
