Actor Died In Hotel Room- Discovered After Days

Malayalam actor Dileep Sankar was found dead in a Thiruvananthapuram hotel room on December 29. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Reports state Dileep had checked into the hotel four days earlier but hadn’t left his room for two days. Concerned by a foul smell, hotel staff opened his room and discovered him deceased. 
A forensic team inspected the scene, and police stated there were no signs of foul play, with the exact cause of death pending post-mortem results.

Dileep’s friends and fellow actors tried unsuccessfully to contact him before his passing. Actress Seema G Nair paid tribute, sharing her grief and a recent interaction with Dileep. 

His last social media post, six days ago, promoted the film Pravinkoodu Shappu, set to release in January 2025. The actor’s sudden demise has left the Malayalam film industry mourning his loss.
