Actor Allu Arjun Arrested

Actor Allu Arjun was arrested by the Chikkadpally police in connection with a stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre in RTC Cross Roads, Hyderabad. The incident occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2, where a woman named Revathi tragically lost her life in the chaos.

A case was registered against Allu Arjun, along with the theatre owner, manager, and security personnel. While the theatre staff had already been taken into custody, the police recently arrested Allu Arjun and brought him to the Chikkadpally police station.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun had approached the court seeking to quash the case against him, claiming in his petition that he had no direct involvement in the stampede. However, police stated that his unauthorized visit to the theatre caused the situation, leading to the unfortunate death of the woman.

Allu Arjun announced compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the victim's family and promised to cover the medical expenses for the injured woman's son.
