Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, is set for his theatrical debut with Loveyapa, co-starring Khushi Kapoor. At the film’s trailer launch, Aamir shared emotional reflections, admitting he was an “absent father” during Junaid’s upbringing. He expressed pride in Junaid’s independent career choices and discipline, which he credited to his ex-wife Reena’s upbringing.
Aamir also praised Khushi, saying, “Sri must be proud of you,” wishing late actress Sridevi could witness her daughter’s big-screen debut.
Additionally, Aamir revealed he quit smoking, inspired by Junaid’s career milestone, stating, “I wanted to quit regardless of his film’s success.”
Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa releases on February 7, promising a fresh take on modern romance. Meanwhile, Aamir prepares for two upcoming projects: Sitaare Zameen Par and Lahore: 1947, signaling his active return to cinema after Laal Singh Chaddha (2022).
