Aamir Khan Earned Rs 2000 Cr from Dangal but Gave Us Only Rs 1 Cr

Babita Phogat, the sister of Vinesh Phogat, has openly criticized Bollywood actor Aamir Khan over the financial dealings related to the hit film Dangal. Aamir Khan portrayed the role of Mahavir Phogat, Babita's father, in the film, which was based on the real-life story of the Phogat family and their wrestling journey.

In a recent statement, Babita claimed, "Aamir Khan made a movie on the Phogat sisters and earned Rs 2000 crore from Dangal, but he gave our family only Rs 1 crore." This remark has sparked a conversation about fair compensation for those whose life stories are portrayed in films, especially when the films become huge box office successes.

Dangal was released in 2016 and became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, both domestically and internationally.
