Excitement for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, "King," has grown following reports that his extended cameo has evolved into a full-fledged lead role.
Leaked photos suggest that the superstar may adopt a rugged salt-and-pepper appearance for this Sujoy Ghosh-directed thriller.
Interest in SRK's new look spiked after an image showed him with a grey beard, reminiscent of his character Vikram Rathore from "Jawan" (2023).
While SRK initially sported a black beard during the early matches of his Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he has recently been concealing his appearance beneath a hoodie.
"King" is highly anticipated not only for SRK's role but also because the action sequences are orchestrated by Siddharth Anand, the director of "Pathaan" (2023).
Additionally, the film marks the big-screen debut of SRK’s daughter Suhana, who entered the film industry with "The Archies" last December.
"King" is scheduled to start production this August.
