Adah Sharma went to great lengths to perfect her appearance for the upcoming film "Bastar: The Naxal Story," which required her to gain weight.
She underwent a rigorous process, adding 10 kilograms to her frame, and followed a strict diet that included consuming 15 bananas and flax seed laddoos daily. The movie depicts the Maoist insurgency in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district.
"I needed to gain 10 kilograms while maintaining peak physical fitness to perform action sequences in the jungle terrain, including climbing mountains and handling rifles," Adah revealed.
To achieve this, her mother provided her with a box of laddoos, of which she consumed four each day.
Directed by Sudipto Sen, "Bastar: The Naxal Story" features a talented cast including Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma, Subrat Dutta, and Raima Sen.
