Movie Gossip
The filming of the highly-anticipated movie "Ramayan" starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi began in Mumbai this week.
Many photos and videos of the large sets in Goregaon Film City were shared on social media.
But director Nitesh Tiwari is upset about these leaks. To prevent further incidents a strict 'no phone policy' has been implemented on sets, as per sources.
The leaked images including those of actors Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi and Arun Govil as Dashrath, have caused distress to the filmmakers.
Tiwari and his team are taking measures to protect the film's secrecy, allowing only necessary personnel on set.
A set of worth Rs 11 crore has been built to recreate the city of Ayodhya.
The movie will be released in three parts, with the first part focusing on Lord Ram's early life, marriage, exile, and Sita's abduction.
Ranbir will start shooting his role as Lord Ram soon, while Sai Pallavi will join in July.
Though the film has not been officially announced, the reports suggest an announcement anytime soon by Sri Ram Navami on 17th April.
So the film makers are going to give a divine treat on Ram Navami with some promotion material of this film.
The makers are vigilant about protecting the film's details, especially Ranbir's appearance as Lord Ram.
