Publicity Stunt: Yash To Wear Real Gold Clothing?

South Indian star Yash will make his Bollywood debut in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' playing the demon king Ravana. 

Reports suggest Yash will wear real gold clothing to enhance Ravana's grandeur reflecting Sri Lanka's historic wealth. A source revealed this choice is to emphasize Ravana's royal status. 

A grand set replicating 'Sone ki Lanka' is being built alongside a Rs 11 crore set for Ayodhya.

Yash is undergoing significant physical transformation for the role aiming to gain 15 kgs. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. 

With a massive budget of Rs 835 crore 'Ramayana' aims to be a global spectacle. The project will be released in three parts with the first part requiring 600 days of post production work.

Yash is also one of the producers of the film, which is slated for release by late 2025 or 2026. The ambitious project is highly anticipated with the filmmakers sparing no effort to ensure its grandeur and authenticity. 

But many are saying that it is over hyped for publicity sake, as real gold clothing is not believable and not needed as well.
