Prabhas to Play Parshurama in 'Ramayana'?

Prabhas, known for his physique that perfectly fits mythological roles, has already impressed audiences as Lord Ram in "Adipurush" and will appear as Karna in "Kalki 2898." Now, rumors are circulating in Bollywood that Prabhas may take on another mythological character in the upcoming "Kannappa" as Lord Nandi. However, the latest buzz suggests that Prabhas might once again feature in a Ramayana-based project.

Director Nitesh Tiwari is currently working on his version of "Ramayana." Ranbir Kapoor is set to play Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Sita. Reports indicate that Tiwari wants to make the Sita-Rama wedding sequence a visual spectacle, and the role of Parshurama is crucial in that segment. Tiwari is said to have approached Prabhas for the role of Parshurama, the avatar of Vishnu preceding Ram. Considering that Ranbir Kapoor is playing Ram, Tiwari believes Prabhas would be a fitting choice for Parshurama, given his stature.

Sources suggest that Prabhas has shown interest in taking on the role of Parshurama, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
