Is SRK Really Worth Rs 7300 Cr?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has joined the 2024 Hurun India Rich List with a net worth of Rs 7300 crore thanks to his influence and investments in the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team and Red Chillies Entertainment. 

The list also features other entertainment industry figures like Juhi Chawla, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and Amitabh Bachchan who have also seen significant financial growth. Shah Rukh Khan is the most followed person on Indian social media among those on the list with 44.1 million Twitter followers surpassing Hrithik Roshan's 32.3 million. 

The entertainment sector's representatives on the list added a total of INR 40,500 crores this year with seven newcomers. Mumbai now Asia's billionaire capital, leads the Hurun India Rich List, contributing 25% of the entries.

It remains the preferred city for India's wealthy followed by New Delhi and Hyderabad. Maharashtra and Delhi are the top states with the highest number of rich individuals on the list.
