Earning Rs 43 Crore a Day

Jagdeep Singh, founder and former CEO of QuantumScape, has made headlines as the world's highest-paid executive. In an extraordinary feat, he earned Rs 17,500 crore in a single year, averaging Rs 43 crore per day.

This staggering income surpasses the annual revenue of many renowned global corporations. Singh gained prominence for his expertise in battery technology used in electric vehicles.

He founded QuantumScape in 2010, a company producing next-generation batteries known for their high energy efficiency and rapid charging capabilities. These innovations have attracted investments from industry giants like Volkswagen and Bill Gates.

On February 16 last year, Singh stepped down as CEO, handing over the reins to Shive Sivaram.
