Valentine's Day is over! For an entire week, lovers celebrated with Kiss Day, Hug Day, Teddy Day, and Chocolate Day. However, not all love stories have a happy ending. Some people who were in love until February 14 may have turned into heartbroken individuals overnight.
For those who have faced heartbreak, Anti-Valentine's Week begins on February 15. Just like Valentine's Week, Anti-Valentine's Week is also inspired by Western culture, but it serves a different purpose—helping people move on from failed relationships.
1. Slap Day (Feb 15) – This marks the start of the week. It’s about letting go of anger, resentment, and pain towards an ex. Some even call it Move-On Day.
2. Kick Day (Feb 16) – Time to kick out negativity and painful memories.
3. Perfume Day (Feb 17) – Self-love matters! Treat yourself to something nice.
4. Flirting Day (Feb 18) – A chance to open up to new possibilities and have some fun.
5. Confession Day (Feb 19) – Express your feelings, whether it’s an apology, closure, or even admitting to a crush.
6. Missing Day (Feb 20) – A day to acknowledge and accept what’s lost while embracing what’s ahead.
7. Breakup Day (Feb 21) – The final step! A symbolic moment to completely move on and say goodbye to the past.
Anti-Valentine’s Week is meant to help people heal and restart their lives with a fresh perspective. While it may not happen in just one week, psychologists suggest that with practice, moving on can take as little as three weeks. So, if you’ve had a heartbreak, this week is for you!
