FMCG sector hiring grew by 11% compared to the previous year, driven by rising demand in rural areas.
Non-metro cities continued to perform well, surpassing metros, while senior professionals remained in high demand.
The IT sector saw a modest 2% growth in April, with roles in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) showing a 19% increase in hiring compared to the previous year.
