India's Nagastra-1 Shield From Pak And China

The Indian Army now has Nagastra-1, man portable suicide drones designed to target enemy launch pads, training camps and infiltrators precisely minimizing risk to soldiers. 

The army has ordered 480 Loiter Munitions from Solar Industries' Economics Explosives Ltd (EEL) under Emergency Procurement Powers. 

According to defense sources, 120 of these drones have been delivered to an Army Ammunition Depot after successful predelivery inspections.

These drones were delivered within a year of the army's emergency procurement to meet urgent needs on the borders with China and Pakistan. 

Nagastra-1 can operate in extreme cold and high altitude conditions. 

Developed by EEL, these drones have a range of 30 kilometers and can achieve GPS enabled precise hits within two meters accuracy. 

The electric UAV with fixed wings can operate for 60 minutes and has a range of 15 kilometers in man in loop mode and 30 kilometers in autonomous mode.
