India-US Aviation: Relief To Indians?

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) suggests a one stop agreement with India to eliminate the need for rescreening passengers and luggage during transfers. 

This concept allows travelers and their baggage to avoid additional security checks when changing flights between countries. 

TSA Administrator David Pekoske states this streamlines passenger and baggage flow by removing redundant security measures. 

Speaking at the India US Aviation Summit Pekoske noted the security and efficiency benefits of this proposal. 

US Federal Aviation Administrator Michael Whitaker emphasized the importance of cooperation on safety and innovation in incorporating new technologies into airspace management.
