Elon Musk About OpenAI And ClosedAI

Elon Musk discussed AI technology and his past involvement with OpenAI at Cannes Lions. 

Musk who co founded OpenAI in 2015 to challenge Google's dominance in AI left the company in 2018. 

He recently dropped a lawsuit against OpenAI which accused it of straying from its original open source principles. 

Musk emphasized that OpenAI was intended to be transparent and open source but he criticized its current focus on closed source profit driven AI. 

Reflecting on the company's transformation he expressed confusion about how it diverged from its founding goals.

Musk also shared his views on the future of AI, suggesting that AI could positively enhance human happiness. 

Additionally he touched on his social media platform X, defending advertisers' rights to choose content alignment while criticizing demands for content censorship on the platform.
