All About OpenAI's "Strawberry"

OpenAI supported by Microsoft is developing a new AI project called "Strawberry" to enhance its models' reasoning abilities. 

Details about Strawberry are closely guarded but a hearsay says that it is all about further 'deep research' which would enable the AI to plan ahead and navigate the internet autonomously. 

OpenAI aims for its AI to understand the world more like humans improving its reasoning over time. 

Previously known as Q*, the project has shown potential in answering complex questions beyond current AI capabilities. 

During a recent meeting OpenAI demonstrated an AI with new reasoning skills.

Improving AI reasoning is important for achieving human like intelligence allowing AI to solve complex problems and make scientific discoveries, as per the AI experts. 

While many researchers and companies including Google, Meta and Microsoft are also exploring reasoning improvements there is debate about whether large language models can truly achieve human like reasoning. 

We have to see what is in store in the next few months and how many unsolved problems in mathematics, physics and other sciences would be solved by 'Starwberry'!
